Our Story

The Charity Development of Los Cabos (CDLC) was established in 2004 by Patricia and Arturo Pratt to honor Patricia’s parents, Doris and Milton Green of Knoxville, Tennessee. This foundation is intended to reflect the value of education, and its importance in the human life.

Our Goal

The goal of the Charity Development of Los Cabos in the Los Cabos region, a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization, is to (A) advance and support the educational needs of the youth; (B) enhance the economic prospects for not only the youth but for the residents in the community, and (C) focus on eliminating poverty so that underprivileged youth will have the opportunity to graduate form high school and further their education by attending a vocational or higher education setting. Funding for the CDLC is obtained from supportive foundations and private investors.
